Knowledge Base & Helpdesk
Build your public knowledge base, FAQ, and client helpdesk portal
6 articles
Setting Up Your Helpdesk
Create a public helpdesk portal with knowledge base and client ticket system.
Document an API in your Chatonio knowledge base
Use the built-in API endpoint block to render method, path, summary, and multiple request/response examples — same source feeds the public helpdesk and the AI.
Ticket notifications for your customers (email & Telegram)
Notify helpdesk clients about replies, new tickets and resolutions via email and a Telegram notification bot. Set per-event delivery modes (Off / Optional / Enforced) and let clients link Telegram and manage their own preferences.
Use your own domain for the helpdesk
Serve your help center at help.yourcompany.com instead of yoursubdomain.chatonio.com: add two DNS records, click verify, and HTTPS certificates are issued automatically. Available on the Pro and Ultimate plans.
Helpdesk login options: magic link, password, or SSO
Choose how clients sign in to your helpdesk portal — passwordless magic links, email + password, or SSO from your own app — and control whether registration is open or invite-only.
Build your knowledge base from your website or your own text
Point Chatonio at your own site and it writes the knowledge base for you — articles, FAQ entries, and the assistant’s instructions.
